Last updated: May 2026

This notice regarding the use of cookies and other tracking tools on the website www.angelschlesserparfums.com (hereinafter, the “Website”) is provided to the user/visitor (“you”) in accordance with European and Italian regulations on the processing of personal data and electronic communications.

The Website is owned by AB Parfums S.P.A., with registered office at Via Melchiorre Gioia no. 8, 20124 Milan (MI) – Italy (hereinafter, the “Data Controller”), whom you may contact for any information or request regarding the use of cookies and other tracking tools on this Website by writing to abparfums@legalmail.it.

The Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who may be contacted for any request or information at dpo@abparfums.it.

For further information on the processing of personal data, please consult the Website Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by the user send to and store on the user’s computer or mobile device, to then be transmitted back to the same websites during subsequent visits. Cookies are used to remember the user’s actions and preferences (for example, login details, selected language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not need to be re-entered when the user returns to the website or navigates from one page to another.

Cookies are also used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storage of information regarding users’ activities when accessing a website, and may also contain a unique identification code that enables tracking of the user’s navigation on the website for statistical or advertising purposes. While browsing a website, the user may also receive cookies on their computer or mobile device from websites or web servers other than the one they are visiting (“third-party cookies”).

Some operations could not be carried out without the use of cookies, which in certain cases are therefore technically necessary for the functioning of the Website. There are different types of cookies, which differ according to their characteristics and functions, and they may remain on the user’s computer or mobile device for different periods of time: session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed, and persistent cookies, which remain on the user’s device until a predetermined expiry date.

According to applicable legislation, the use of cookies does not always require the user’s express consent. In particular, “technical cookies”, i.e. cookies used solely for the purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user, do not require such consent. In other words, these are cookies that are essential for the functioning of the website or necessary to perform activities requested by the user.

On the other hand, “profiling cookies”, aimed at creating user profiles and used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the internet, require the user’s prior consent.

2. Cookies used by our Website

The Website uses cookies for its operation and for the provision of the services offered, to understand and improve the user’s browsing experience, and to send advertising aligned with the preferences expressed during internet browsing.

In particular, the Website uses:

  • technical cookies, namely navigation or session cookies, strictly necessary for the functioning of the Website or to allow you to use the requested content and services (legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, namely browsing the Website and using its content and services);
  • analytical cookies treated as technical cookies, including third-party cookies, used to produce aggregated statistics (legal basis: exempt from the obligation to obtain consent under electronic communications regulations and, in particular, Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, as clarified by the “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools – 10 June 2021” issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority);
  • analytical cookies, including third-party cookies, which help us understand how the Website is used by you and other users (legal basis: your prior consent. Providing consent is optional).

Third-party cookies are also used, namely cookies originating from websites or web servers other than that of the Data Controller, for the purposes of such third parties.

In particular, the cookies present on the Website are the following:

Technical cookies:

These are used to produce aggregated statistics. Tools have been adopted to reduce the ability of cookies to identify the user (masking portions of the IP address), and third parties do not combine the collected information with other information already available to them, nor do they share it with third parties.

3. Categories of recipients of personal data

For the purposes indicated above (in the table under paragraph 2), your personal data may be disclosed:

  • to data processors appointed by the Data Controller (IT, technology and telecommunication service providers);
  • to other independent data controllers (indicated in the table under paragraph 2).

Your data may also be transmitted, in the cases provided by law, to tax authorities, law enforcement agencies and judicial and administrative authorities, for the detection and prosecution of crimes, the prevention of and protection against threats to public security, as well as to enable the Data Controller to ascertain, exercise or defend its rights in judicial proceedings, in addition to other reasons related to the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

4. How to enable or disable cookies

Cookie Center

You may choose which categories of cookies to authorize by selecting them through our Cookie Center (by clicking on “Cookie Settings – Modify your consent”).

Please note that:

  • since “technical cookies” are strictly necessary for the functioning of the Website or to use the requested content and services, it is not possible to disable this type of cookie, as doing so would compromise the proper functioning of the Website or the use of its content and services. If you do not wish this category of cookies to be installed on your device, we invite you not to use the Website (the installation of technical cookies is a necessary requirement for the proper functioning of the Website);
  • since “analytical cookies treated as technical cookies” are used exclusively to produce aggregated statistics in order to enable the Data Controller to understand and improve the user’s browsing experience, the same rules applicable to technical cookies apply to them. If you do not wish this category of cookies to be installed on your device, we invite you not to use the Website;
  • failure to consent to the installation and use of “analytical cookies” (including third-party cookies) does not affect the functioning of the Website. Providing consent is optional.

In addition to this procedure, you may always block or delete cookies (in whole or in part) through the specific functions of your browser (see above). The choices made regarding the Website’s cookies will in turn be stored in a specific technical cookie with the characteristics indicated in the relevant table. However, this cookie may not function properly in certain circumstances. In such cases, we recommend deleting unwanted cookies and preventing their use also through browser functions. Cookie preferences will need to be reset if different devices or browsers are used to access the Website or if cookies are deleted from your device.

5. Transfer of personal data outside the EU/EEA

Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) that do not ensure an adequate level of data protection, as established by specific decisions of the European Commission (https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection/adequacy-decisions_en).

As a data subject, you have the right to:

  • obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you exists and, where that is the case, access to such data and related information (right of access);
  • obtain the rectification of your personal data, namely the correction, amendment or updating of inaccurate or outdated data, as well as the completion of incomplete personal data, including by providing a supplementary statement (right to rectification);
  • request the deletion of your personal data (right to erasure);
  • obtain restriction of the processing of your personal data, namely that the Data Controller retains such data without being able to use it (right to restriction);
  • obtain your personal data from the Data Controller in a standard format and request its transmission, where technically feasible, directly to a third party indicated by you (right to data portability);
  • withdraw at any time any consent previously given for the processing of your personal data, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (withdrawal of consent).

Furthermore, you have the right to object, at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data, in particular for marketing purposes, including profiling.

To exercise these rights, you may contact the Data Controller at any time by writing to abparfums@legalmail.it or the DPO at dpo@abparfums.it.

7. Complaints

Should you believe that cookies or other tracking tools have been used unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (in Italy, the Italian Data Protection Authority. For more information, please visit www.garanteprivacy.it). The complaint may also be lodged with a supervisory authority other than the Italian one, if it is the competent authority in the Member State of the European Union (EU) in which you habitually reside, work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.
